06/30/2022 -  Firecracker 2022 coming up fast! - CORRECTION!!

**Apologies if this is a duplicate email, we had a little system glitch, now resolved, but I want to be sure everyone sees this. THANKS! :-)
CORRECTION!!!

We only have a limited inventory of extra t-shirts so we need to manage this carefully.  If you need your t-shirt exchanged for another size, ask the volunteer at packet pickup to make note of it on the form.  (Example:  Requesting exchange for size medium)
Stop by the CCC merchandise tent on July 4 after the ride and we will see if we can accommodate your request for an exchange.
Email me with any questions at firecrackerride@capitalcyclingclub.org

Thanks and sorry for any confusion!

Good morning riders!
We are getting ready for Firecracker Ride on July 4 and it is coming up fast!  Seven days from now, you'll be arriving and getting ready to ride! WOW! It's been a great year of planning and working with such a GREAT team and we are ready for you!!

We are keeping an eye on the weather but the ride is on rain or shine!  Please think good thoughts of sun, clear skies and cool breezes!

Below are a few notes for all of you.

Additional Firecracker merchandise is available for size exchange or purchase. Quantities are LIMITED!! If you are concerned about the size you ordered, I recommend getting to the shop in the first day or so to improve your chances of your exchange.

Volunteer Tshirts are also available for pickup.  Please find your name on the list and check off that you have picked up your shirt. If you have not picked up your shirt by Saturday, I will email you to pick it up before event day. Any remaining shirts will be available on event day.

  • MS Society Donations!  Remember, you can still share the Firecracker site and ask for donations! https://firecracker.capitalcyclingclub.org
"The money raised by people like you have helped (and will continue to help) the Society pave the way for every effective MS treatment available today, including the first therapies for primary progressive and pediatric MS. Our progress is accelerating. We’ve made more advances towards a cure in the last five years than the decades that preceded it. We are confident this next chapter will be the last for MS and with every pedal stroke, you help us get one step closer. We’re incredibly grateful for your support of the MS movement!"

Rest Stop 1 ENTERING - there is a 1-2" steep drop from roadway to gravel and a LEFT into the Rest Stop.  Please SLOW DOWN & BE CAREFUL!!  We will also have a volunteer there to help caution you. Remember this is a gas station, there will be cars, trucks, traffic.
