Ride Information

All Capital Cycling Club (CCC) sponsored group rides require a signed CCC ride waiver by all cycling participants. This is a one-time yearly waiver required for all 2024 CCC sponsored group rides. The online waiver for non-CCC members can be reviewed and signed here.

New to the ride? Please see the ride captain, ~10 minutes prior to the ride.

All participants recognize that cycling is a high-risk sport, will abide by the NC state cycling laws, and understand and agree to the terms of the CCC ride waiver.  This includes no headphones or earbuds and no riding in aerobars unless riding at least 20 feet off the back of cycling activity. Thank you for understanding.

In case of inclement weather - when inclement or dangerous weather exists or is in the forecast for the ride start time or ride duration, the following will apply:

• The ride will revert to a "show up/pick-up" ride (NOT a CCC sponsored event ride).
• Riders who choose to "show up" will ride at their own risk and should not expect a ride leader to be resent.
• Riders who choose to "show up" may choose the route, destination, and duration, and split into different pace groups, which may be very different from the originally scheduled ride.  Please work together to ensure that everyone gets home safely.
